Di Dio withdraws from Fine and Performing Arts dean search

Kelley Helmstutler Di Dio, one of four finalists to be the university’s next Fine and Performing Arts dean, has withdrawn from the search.

Di Dio, associate dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and professor of art history at the University of Vermont, was to interview March 7-8.

Remaining finalists are Andy Belser (University of Arizona), Kern Maass (Loyola University) and Christopher Marks (University of Nebraska–Lincoln). Belser and Maass have already interviewed for the position. Marks’ interview remains scheduled for March 9-10, with a public presentation at 3:30 p.m. March 10 in-person at the Lied Center for Performing Arts’ Steinhart Room and via Zoom.
