This summer, the graduate student professional development team at the Office of Graduate Studies will offer an online professional development course/workshop series on teaching and course design.

This will be a seven-week course beginning the week of June 12 and concluding the week of July 24.

The workshop is designed to provide an introduction to course design for graduate students and postdocs. By the end of the series, students will develop a complete syllabus for a new course based on their dissertation/thesis research or postdoctoral research.

This series will have regular coursework and material provided online and weekly meetings with participating University of Nebraska–Lincoln students. The weekly meetings will be tentatively scheduled for noon to 1 p.m. on Thursdays beginning June 16.

This workshop will count toward CIRTL Certification.
