Couples sought for ‘Seven Principles’ course

Based on the internationally acclaimed research of Drs. John and Julie Gottman, the Seven Principles program is designed to strengthen your marriage or committed relationship.

This six-week educational and experiential class is designed for any couple in a committed relationship. You and your partner will learn:

  • How to foster respect, affection and closeness in your relationship
  • Build and share a deeper connection with each other
  • How to keep conflict discussions calm, how to break through conflicted gridlock and how to strengthen and maintain the gains in your relationship

Classes begin from 4-5 p.m. Jan. 23 for six weeks at the Nebraska Union, Food Court D. An alternate registration option is available for the full day workshop from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 18 at the Nebraska Easat Union.

Participants must purchase the Seven Principles Couples Set, which includes: two workbooks, one copy of The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work and Love Maps and Open-Ended Questions card decks.
