Career coach Sarah Collins will present the lecture “Lessons from a Former Party Girl: How the Key to Your Career Might Be Hiding in Your Extracurricular Activities” at 7:30 p.m. April 18 in the Nebraska Union Ballroom.
Collins, a University of Nebraska–Lincoln alumna, helps young professionals discover, develop and enhance their careers to propel them into satisfying lives. Collins will share her experiences and offer guidance to help young people realize their skills and live up to their potential. She will talk about the power and importance of discipline, ownership of actions, and motivation.
The event, sponsored by UPC Nebraska, Career Services and the Student Alumni Association, is free for students with a valid NCard, and $5 for faculty, staff and the public.
