CAPS offering program to aid in coping with pandemic

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS).

Counseling and Psychological Services at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln will host an event on “Developing an Understanding of Meaning and Purpose During Pandemic Times” from 3 to 4 p.m. Nov. 16 via Zoom.

The program will discuss the persisting stress of COVID-19, both in terms of fears of illness, restriction of activities and loss of the sense of normalcy, which can produce real symptoms. This stress can also exacerbate current struggles. This event offers a humanist and existential frame with a Monty Python twist, offering two brief interventions: deep breathing and identity affirmation.

Registration is not required, just join via Zoom.
