Starting in 2019, the University of Nebraska added an enhanced level of flu shot coverage under its pharmacy benefits plan.

Under the plan, employees who have completed the health risk assessment will have a zero-dollar copayment for flu shots administered at an in-network pharmacy. For employees who receive a flu shot in a physician’s office or by appointment at the University Health Center, the cost will apply towards preventative care allowances.
