Visitors must have a state park permit. Permits can be acquired in advance from the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission here.
“Ashfall Fossil Beds is a truly unique fossil site,” said Susan Weller, director of the NU State Museum. “We’re excited to celebrate the park and recognize its important role in research and education. We hope everyone in the community will take the time to join us for this fun event.”
