The Architecture Library will be closing for renovations on Nov. 15.

A core collection containing about 7,000 books and 3,000 journals, reflecting the last five years of active titles, will be moved to a temporary space in the lower level of Architecture Hall during construction. All other materials will be moving from the Architecture Library to the Libraries Depository Retrieval Facility on East Campus.

Users can request those materials by using the library catalog and choosing “Delivery” for the item and indicating pick-up at the library location of their choice. The nearest physical location for users in the Architecture building is the Music Library in Westbrook.

The current location of the Architecture Library will undergo renovations to become studio space for students in the College of Architecture. The new location for the Architecture Library, the southwest corner of the first floor of Architecture Hall, will also be renovated and will reopen in the fall of 2022.
