Fifty-one students from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s College of Engineering attended the 2017 Complete Engineer Conference March 19-22 at Union Pacific Corporate Headquarters in Omaha.

The Complete Engineer Conference is the premier leadership development conference for Nebraska Engineering students. Attendees were selected through a competitive application process.

The conference provides participants with experience in identifying, using and leveraging non-technical skills to tackle significant challenges facing the world today.

Participants experienced:

  • Professional and personal development workshops that focus on identifying and appreciating individual strengths, values, diversity and more of the “Complete Engineer” competencies;

  • Keynote speeches from leading engineering executives and thought leaders;

  • Selective networking opportunities;

  • A chance to earn scholarship funds through a team-based competition.
