17th Street between R and Vine streets is closing the morning of Oct. 18.

The change will shift additional StarTran bus service to 16th Street. Due to potential delays along 16th Street, drivers should seek alternate routes as they cross Nebraska’s City Campus.

Limited access to campus buildings near the Cather-Pound project will be available via 17th Street. The closure will continue through at least spring 2018.

The Cather and Pound hall towers are scheduled for implosion on Dec. 22. Learn more about the removal of Cather and Pound halls.
