The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Student Observatory is hosting open houses from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. every Thursday through Dec. 17. The observatory is located on the top of the Stadium Drive Parking Garage.
The open houses occur weekly unless there is bad weather. The next open house will be on Nov. 7, during which attendees will have the chance to see a variety of celestial objects, including Jupiter, Pleiades, Double Cluster, Orion Nebula and Earth's moon.
