The University of Nebraska–Lincoln has been given the opportunity to be a host institution for this year’s Global Conference on Sustainability in Higher Education on Oct. 18, Oct. 26 and Nov. 3.
This virtual event will deliver live interactive sessions, inspiring keynote presenters and engaging networking opportunities for innovative professionals and campus change agents. Sessions at GCSHE will be presented by NU community members.
“Creating Institutional Change for Social and Environmental Justice,” co-Presented by Deryl Hatch-Tocaimaza, NU associate professor of educational administration, will be presented 3-4 p.m. Oct. 18. There will also be an on-demand session, “Developing a Comprehensive and Efficient Recycling Operation,” presented by Morgan Hartman, sustainability coordinator for the university.
As a host institution, Nebraska has 100 registration passes available for faculty, staff and students to learn about and engage with global higher education sustainability topics. Registration is required for all participants.
Institutional email addresses must be used during registration, as the discount code is linked to the institution’s email domains (@unl.edu, @huskers.unl.edu, @nebraska.edu and @huskers.com). Other email addresses (such as Gmail, Outlook or Yahoo) will not work with the discount code and will be deleted.
