A retirement reception for Vicki Miller, research communications adviser, is 3:30 to 5 p.m. Jan. 11 at the Prem S. Paul Research Center at Whittier School.
Miller is retiring after nearly 29 years as a communications writer, editor and strategist at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. She served as research communications director in the Office of Research and Economic Development from 2006 to 2016, and was science writer/editor and assistant coordinator of the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources News and Publications unit from 1988 to 2006. Miller is a longtime member of the Association of Communications Excellence and the National Association of Science Writers.
The campus community and public are invited to attend Miller’s reception in Whittier School’s second-floor reception space. A brief program will be held at 4 p.m.
