The University of Nebraska–Lincoln is working across all colleges, departments and units to elevate inclusive excellence. That work is being actively honed through the N2025 strategic plan.
The Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts is helping advance inclusive excellence through its diverse performances and partnerships. Those experiences include a two-year partnership with the St. Louis Black Rep; a commitment by the student-run Theatrix theatre group; and the use of improv theatre for students to tell their stories through We Are Nebraska. As the university enters the third year of the strategic plan, campus leaders recently gathered to discuss progress made toward the document’s six aims and related goals. Videos from the discussions are being released through April 25 with a weekly theme tied to each of the N2025 aims. The fifth video published April 18 with a focus on inclusive excellence.
