Fall symposium to feature obesity experts

The Nebraska Center for the Prevention of Obesity Diseases is hosting its third annual fall symposium Sept. 20 at Sheldon Museum of Art.

The Nebraska Center for the Prevention of Obesity Diseases is hosting the third annual fall symposium from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 20, at the Sheldon Museum of Art.

The symposium is a free event for faculty, postdoctoral researchers, students, staff, industry partners, and other interested parties to explore relevant topics and network with fellow researchers in academia and industry.

Internationally recognized experts on obesity who will present at the symposium include: Quan Lu, Harvard University; Allison Xu, University of California San Francisco; and Nancy Webb, University of Kentucky
