Kenda Jackson examines blood agar plates in studies that tested the effect of certain antibiotics on detection of Shiga toxin-producing E. coli bacteria in cattle. Jackson recently graduated from Tuskegee University in Alabama. She was an intern in the Nebraska laboratory of Rodney A.
