Comedian Chico Bean will perform at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 29 in the Nebraska Union Auditorium, 1400 R St.

Anthony Jamal Bean, known by his nickname “Chico,” is also an actor, writer, singer and producer. He began his career as an opener for comedian Chris Wiles. He is a founding member of the “Freestyle Funny Comedy Show” and a recurring cast member on MTV’s “Wild ‘N Out.”

Bean’s performance will be preceded by a student comedy act.

The event, sponsored by the University Program Council, is free for students and $5 for faculty, staff and the public.
