Nebraska EPSCoR and the University of Nebraska at Omaha Department of Biomechanics present a free, one-day Symposium on Biomechanics Oct. 13 at UNO’s Thompson Alumni Center in Omaha.

Students and faculty with interest in biomechanics can register here. Registration ends Oct. 5.

Scheduled speakers include the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Carl Nelson, professor of mechanical and materials engineering.

In addition to lunch and refreshment breaks, the event includes tours of UNO’s Biomechanics Research Building and a poster session by students, postdocs and faculty on biomechanics topics.
