More than 200 UNL faculty and staff will be honored for their contributions to students during a 3 p.m. Jan. 29 program in the Nebraska Union (room posted).

Organized by Student Affairs and coordinated by the UNL Teaching Council and UNL Parents Association, the ceremony awards positive feedback to faculty and staff about the work they do with students. The honors also encourage the goal of good student and faculty relationships and provide recognition in an area often overlooked in the formal rewards systems.

Each award winner is nominated by a parent or student.

The event is free and open to the public. Check-in and a reception for award winners opens at 2:30 p.m.
