A reception for Glenn Nierman, professor of music, is 4 to 6 p.m., April 4 in the Lied Center for Performing Arts’ Lied Commons.

Nierman is also associate director of the Glenn Korff School of Music. He is the new president of the National Association for Music Education.

The reception is free and open to the public. Brief remarks will be made at 4:45 p.m.
