Artist Tai Meng Ieong will give a free lecture and demonstration from 7 to 9 p.m. Sept. 23 in the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center, room 212. Ieong is best known for flower and bird paintings. He will present several of his art pieces and demonstrate painting techniques.

The work of Ieong and Xie Anning is on display Sept. 23-28 in the Nebraska Union Rotunda Gallery.

Ieong is a professor at Xi’an Jiaotong University City College in Xi’an, China.

The lecture, demonstration and exhibition are free and open to the public.
