Scaffolding rises around and above Love Library’s cupola as construction workers redefine “high maintenance.”

Periodic renovations have allowed the library’s crown to endure nearly 80 years of wind, sun, cold, rain and snow. The latest renovation, which commenced May 16, is expected to conclude by the end of summer.
