Given the unanticipated moves that took place due to COVID-19 this spring, more than 100 bicycle owners may have been unable to retrieve their property from campus bike racks.

To help prevent theft and vandalism, University Housing and University Police will inventory and move bikes that have not been placed in “safe racks” by May 8. Bikes will be placed in a secure location and need be claimed prior to Sept. 28.

If students are able, they are encouraged to pick up their bike prior to May 8. Students who cannot retrieve their bike by May 8 should contact Carrie Fitzwater.

Identification information will be required to reclaim personal property.
