SNL’ comedian coming to campus

“Saturday Night Live” comedian and actor Alex Moffat will perform at 7:30 p.m. April 18 in the Nebraska Union’s Centennial Room.

Moffat is well-known in Chicago’s improv comedy scene, having regularly performed at the iO Chicago Theater, Annoyance Theatre, Zanies and the Comedy Bar. He starred in his own one-man show, “Good Little Winnetka Boy,” at the Annoyance Theatre in 2010.

Moffat is also a Second City alumnus who teaches for the Second City Training Center’s teen and youth program. He made his “Saturday Night Live” debut in October 2016. His celebrity impressions on the show have included Anderson Cooper, Al Franken and Eric Trump.

Comedian, writer, actor and TV host Streeter Seidell is the opening act.

The event, sponsored by UPC Nebraska, is free for students with a valid NCard and $5 for faculty, staff and the public.
