Writing retreat offered to faculty, graduate students

A five-day writing retreat will be held May 9-13 at Love Library.

The University Libraries will host a five-day writing retreat for University of Nebraska–Lincoln faculty and graduate students, May 9-13 in Love Library.

The retreat is free, but limited to 40 participants. Registration is available online.

While writing, participants may remain in Love Library’s Peterson Room, venture into the stacks or use other study areas including the Adele Hall Learning Commons. Writing coaches will be on hand to provide guidance and answer questions. Expert advice on writing and publishing will be offered in brief sessions at the start of each day.

The schedule will open with a continental breakfast each day at 8:30 a.m. in the Peterson Room. Lunches will also be provided. Sessions will end at 4 p.m. May 9-12 and at 1 p.m. on May 13.
