UNOPA talk to explore Haymarket history

The history of Lincoln’s Haymarket will be explored during a March 28 luncheon organized by the University of Nebraska Office Professionals Association.

Jim McKee, a local historian, will lead the talk, which begins at 11:45 a.m. at the Vine Congregational Church, 1800 Twin Ridge Road. The event, organized by UNOPA’s Professional Standards Endowment Committee, includes a silent auction. Doors open at 10:30 a.m.

Tickets to attend are $15. Reservations, due by March 22, should be made via email to Kathy Bennetch, kbennetch1@unl.edu.
