Computer Science and Engineering, in conjunction with the local chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery, is organizing and hosting the 2013 ACM Regional Programming Contest. The event is 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 9 in Avery Hall. Approximately 35 teams will compete in the regional contest, with the top teams earning a chance to compete in the world finals in May.
Up to three teams from each regional competition advance to the International Collegiate Programming Contest World Finals, which will be held in Ekaterinburg, Russia.
UNL has sent teams to the world finals eight of the past 15 years.
