Taryn A. Puro of Sandy, Utah, a cadet in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Reserve Officer Training Corps, will receive her military commission Aug. 13.

Puro will be commissioned an ensign in the U.S. Navy in a ceremony at 1:30 p.m. in the Nebraska Union Auditorium, 1400 R St. The ceremony is part of UNL’s summer all-university commencement activities. For more information on summer commencement, click here.
