Symposium to feature student research projects

A student showcases her research project during the 2012 Nebraska Summer Research Symposium. The 2014 event is Aug. 6 in the Nebraska Union.

The research and creative activity of more than 150 students will be featured in the Nebraska Summer Research Symposium, 1 to 3 p.m. Aug. 6 in the Nebraska Union’s Centennial Room.

Participating students represent multiple institutions around the world and UNL. The students have conducted research at UNL this summer through multiple programs, including the Nebraska Undergraduate Summer Research program, the Undergraduate Creative Activity and Research Experiences (UCARE) program, McNair Scholars, and the Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University Undergraduate Research Experience program.

Admission is free and open to the public. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend.
