The Nebraska Center for the Prevention of Obesity Diseases’ spring retreat, “Translating Big Data into Human Health through MicroRNA Biology,” will be held at the Sheldon Museum of Art for all interested faculty, students, staff and others. The retreat if free but registration is required before March 4 at http://cehs.unl.edu/npod/.
Three nationally recognized experts will be featured: Kai Wang, from the Institute for Systems Biology in Seattle, Washington; Ken Witwer, from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine; and Beiyan Zhou, from Texas A&M University. The day will conclude with a poster session with cash prizes open to graduate students and postdoctoral candidates.
