Sheldon hosts Asian lunar new year festival

Sheldon Museum of Art and the Asian Community and Cultural Center are holding a celebration of the Asian lunar new year from 2 to 5 p.m. Feb. 21 at the museum.

The festival includes craft-making activities, traditional dance, games and music. Featured performers for the event include the Trans-Oceanic Costume Team, Chinese Silk Road Dancers, India Children’s Dance Group, KSN: Karen Traditional Dance Group and Linh Quang Temple Lion Dance Troupe.

The museum and festival are free and open to all.
