On March 10, Chicago’s legendary sketch comedy theater, The Second City, will present its “Laugh Out Loud Tour” at the Lied Center for Performing Arts. The 7:30 p.m. show will feature some of the best sketches, songs and improvisations from Second City’s 52-year history.

The Laugh Out Loud Tour is a one-of-a-kind show from the company that launched the careers of Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell, Gilda Radner, Bill Murray and more. Now, the next generation of the comedy world’s best and brightest comes in an evening of hilarious sketch comedy and Second City’s trademark improvisation.

The Second City tradition celebrates more than 50 years of cutting edge satiric revues and continues to deliver the leading voices in comedy while touring the globe. With scripted and improvisational elements, audiences always enjoy being part of the show and playing along with future comic legends. In addition to their impressive roster of performers past and present, Second City has also received significant critical acclaim over the years. The troupe has been nominated for 30 Joseph Jefferson Awards in Chicago and more than 35 Dora Awards in Toronto honoring excellence in professional theater.
