Dan Claes, UNL department chair of physics and astronomy, will discuss physics topics inspired by iconic comic book characters at the next “Sci Pop Talks!” series, “The Radioactive Origins of Marvel Comics,”at 7 p.m. Feb. 18 in Love South, Room 222.

The talk will focus on the comic book characters, their superpowers and significant events in history, with a focus on the Fantastic Origins of the Fantastic Four and the X-men, Children of the Atom!
