Sanders to make campaign stop at Lied Center

U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-Vermont)

U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, a candidate for the Democratic nomination for president, will make a campaign appearance March 3 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Lied Center for Performing Arts.

Doors open at 11 a.m. for the rally at the Lied Center, 301 N. 12th St. The event is free and open to the public. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.

For security reasons, those planning to attend are asked to refrain from bringing bags and limit what they bring to small personal items such as keys and cell phones. Weapons, sharp objects, chairs and signs or banners on sticks will not be allowed through security.

Public parking is available in surrounding streets and paid lots.
