The”Nebraskans in the Cinema” film series organized by UNL’s Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center continues with a 7 p.m. Aug. 6 screening of “Fort Apache.”
Films in the series are shown on the Cube, an outdoor screen located at the Railyard on Canopy Street in Lincoln’s Historic Haymarket. Admission is free. A classic Looney Tunes cartoon will be shown before each film in the series.
The Railyard space includes picnic tables for seating. Individuals can bring folding chairs or blankets to sit on. No outside food or drink (other than water) is permitted.
“Fort Apache” stars Henry Fonda and Ward Bond. The film is 125 minutes long and is unrated.
Cartoons shown prior to “Fort Apache” will include “Wabbit Twubble” and “Beep Beep.”
