The Employee Assistance Program is offering a seven-week parenting class based on the program “Love and Logic.”
“Becoming a Love and Logic Parent” is a program that offers ways to raise a responsible child that learns from the consequences of their own mistakes. Participants will learn about preparing children for the real world and avoiding power struggles by letting empathy and consequences do the teaching.
Registration is open for the faculty and staff to attend.
The next session is noon to 1 p.m. March 17 in the 501 Building, Room 22. Additional sessions will be offered Tuesdays at the same time and location. Participants will receive an overview of the class schedule and educational material will be given during each class period that reinforces the learning from videos and class discussion.
Area A parking is available around the building. Participants without an Area A permit can park in the Stadium Drive Parking Garage and get parking validation from EAP.
