The Center for Civic Engagement is looking for individuals or groups to participate in Dare to Care, a campus-wide competitive food drive.

Teams can register by sending email to service-learning@unl.edu or in room 222 of the Nebraska Union. Participation is open to students, faculty and staff.

Individuals can participate by donating to a registered Dare to Care team or by dropping non-perishable food items into barrels located on City and East campuses.

The drive will run from Oct. 26 to Nov. 6. Teams must drop off donations by Nov. 7.

All items collected will be donated to the Food Bank of Lincoln.

A total of 3,530 pounds of food were collected during Dare to Care 2012.
