A UNL program is looking for adults who want to learn to play the piano.

Brenda Wristen, director of piano pedagogy and keyboard skills at UNL, is supervising the Community Piano Experience. The program, which started in 2002, offers group piano classes on basic music reading and keyboarding skills.

Classes for the spring semester begin Jan. 22-23. The classes meet weekly for 90 minutes.

Space is limited. All lessons will be in the Westbrook Music Building. UNL piano pedagogy students will teach the classes under the supervision of Wristen.

The class is designed specifically for adults and costs $175. Cost includes 11 weeks of group lessons, a textbook and all additional materials.
