UNL is offering a day of service to honor the 12th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The event, organized by the Center for Civic Engagement and the Student Veterans Organization, is 1 to 4 p.m. Sept. 15.

Participants will serve veterans and Tabitha clients in several home landscaping and maintenance projects.

More than one million people nationwide will serve in similar 9/11 anniversary service projects.
