Redox biology symposium registration due by Oct. 31

Registration is open for the 12th annual Redox Biology Center Symposium. The symposium is 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Sheldon Museum of Art.

The event theme is “Redox Biology of Complex Diseases.” Participation is free and open to the public. Pre-registration, due by Oct. 31, is available online.

The symposium features prominent researchers from around the world. The speaker list includes Vadim Gladyshev, Harvard Medical School and Brigham Women’s Hospital; D. Allan Butterfield, Sanders-Brown Center on Aging at the University of Kentucky; Richard I. Morimoto, Rice Institute for Biomedical Research at Northwestern University; E. Dale Able, University of Iowa and Carver College of Medicine; Mark A. Wilson, UNL Redox Biology Center; Junji Yodoi, of the JBPA Biostress Institute and the Japan BioStress Research Promotion in Kyoto, Japan; and Irving H. Zucker, of the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
