Leaders from across Lincoln, including University of Nebraska-Lincoln Chancellor Harvey Perlman, have come together to launch Prosper Lincoln, an initiative that will envision and enact a set of community-wide priorities to make Lincoln prosper even more.
A community-wide breakfast will be at Pinnacle Bank Arena from 7:30 to 9 a.m. May 12. During the session, participants will learn about the city’s strengths and challenges as reported in the latest update of the Lincoln Vital Signs report, which was authored by the University of Nebraska Public Policy Center in coordination with the Lincoln Community Foundation. Input on how best to build a stronger city will be sought from every member.
To register for the breakfast by May 6, visit http://www.lcf.org/May12.
An idea card will be available at the breakfast to gather ideas on how to nurture youth success from cradle to career; grow economic prosperity; and enhance quality of life.
