Traffic will be congested around residence halls as students move out May 5-8. Approximately 5,000 residence hall students, their parents and extra vehicles move students out of the residence halls.
Much of that movement will be concentrated into May 5 and 6, based on large lecture-class exam schedules.
Move out times are: Selleck, Courtyards, Husker and Fedde halls will close for the academic year at 8 a.m. May 7. All other residence halls will close at 10 a.m. May 7.
Courtyards opens for summer at 2 p.m. May 7.
During Finals Week, Abel will serve breakfast at 6:30 a.m. All other unit hours will not change. The final meal for the spring semester is on May 6.
Abel, Harper, Cather and Selleck close at 2 p.m.; Husker Heroes is open until 2 p.m.; Husker Hoagies is open until 3:30 p.m.; Huskers-on-the Go is open until 2 p.m.; the Nebraska East Union Café is open until 1:30 p.m.; Corner Deli is open until 2:30 p.m.; Knoll Grab-And-Go will serve breakfast from 6:45 to 10:30 a.m.; Village Market and Abel C-Store close at 10 p.m.
Selleck Dining will be open for the summer May 16 through Aug. 11, Monday through Friday breakfast is 6:30 to 9:45 a.m., lunch 10:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and dinner is 4:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday breakfast is 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. and lunch 10:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Selleck will be open only for Memorial Day and the Independence Day holidays. Brunch is 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and dinner is 5 to 7 p.m.
East Campus will have “Summer Grill-Out” every Wednesday and Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 1 through July 29.
