The University of Nebraska Foundation has set a goal to raise $10,000 for student support and recruitment by Dec. 2. The drive is part of Giving Tuesday, a national day of philanthropy designed to generate collective giving during the holiday season.

Giving Tuesday, known on social media by the hashtag #GivingTuesday, is Dec. 2.

The NU Foundation has created the Nebraska Legends Scholarship and Recruitment Fund to support recruitment and retention of top students. Faculty, staff and the public are encouraged to give to that fund or another important area.
