The Lester F. Larsen Tractor Test and Power Museum will hold its annual fall open house from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 25 on East Campus. The student-ran Tractor Restoration Club hosts the event, and there will be free pizza and pop.

Visitors can enjoy viewing some of the recent improvements to the museum, including new displays and a newly restored 1948 John Deere H, which was the club’s project last school year. The Splinter Gallery in the museum continues to feature the Craig Cassell exhibit of agricultural drawings.

After the open house, country artist Dustin Lynch will be performing the UNL Homecoming Concert on the East Campus Mall at 8 p.m.

There is no admission fee, but a free-will donation to benefit the restoration club will be taken. The club welcomes new members who are UNL students.

The museum welcomes volunteers from the community. Enjoy an evening of agricultural history, viewing the tractors and exhibits about tractor testing in the original Nebraska Tractor Test Lab 1919 building.

Contact the museum at 402-472-8389 to learn more.
