Kirchmann retiring after 40 years

A retirement reception for John Kirchmann is 3 to 4 p.m. May 1 at the Ag Research and Development Center’s August N. Christenson Research and Education Building near Mead.

Kirchmann has worked for the university for 40 years. He started working at UNL in September 1973. He is retiring as an ag research technician with farm operations at the ARDC on May 1.

The reception will include a short presentation at 3:15 p.m.
