Innovation Campus to host Aug. 27 'Envirorun'

There will be a fun four-mile “Envirorun” event starting at 6 p.m. Aug. 27 on the Nebraska Innovation Campus.

Enter through the main entrance onto the Nebraska Innovation Campus, and the parking will be free. There will be a place inside to store bags while everyone is running. Meet inside of the event room, which will be on the left side of the plaza. There will be signs to direct participants where to go.

At 7 p.m. after the run, everyone is welcome to return to the campus for the speaker series.

The speaker, Deborah Bathke, a UNL associate professor of practice in the meteorology and climate program in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, will be the first to speak. Bathke is also affiliated with the National Drought Mitigation Center.
