Lori Patton, a professor of higher education at the University of Indiana and a nationally-known author, will discuss racism in a 1 p.m. Oct. 4 presentation in the Nebraska Union Colonial Room. The presentation, “Getting Serious About Racism: The Search for More Progressive Racial Understanding in Higher Education,” is free and open to the public.
