'Inception' inspires March 19 lecture


The University Libraries’ “Sci Pop Talks! Where Science Intersects Pop Culture” series continues today with a lecture on how the natural world is full of examples of mind control

The “Making ‘Inception’ Real” lecture is 7 p.m. March 19 in Love Library, room 201. The talk will be led by Ramesh Laungani, a professor at Doane College.

The “Sci Pop Talks!” series is offered at 7 p.m. every Wednesday through April 23 in Love Library. The talks will explore the science within some favorite icons of popular culture and be delivered by science faculty from UNL and Doane College.

Talks in the series are free and open to the public.
