The Horticulture Club's annual spring plant sale has been extended through May 1. The sale, open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., is located in the East Campus Teaching Greenhouse, immediately east of Plant Sciences Hall.
A variety of annual bedding plants, vegetables, herbs and ready-made planters are available.
Members of the Horticulture Club do everything to prepare the plants for sale, including seeding and transplanting, to daily watering. Plants are grown from either a plug or seed by club members.
The sale acts as a semester-long project as members typically begin seeding at the end of January and get the plugs in the middle of February, said club historian Erin Kingly.
