A University Libraries group designed to help individuals explore and organize the roots of their family tree will meet from 11.30 to 12.30 p.m. Aug. 21 in Love South, Room 110.
The Genealogy Over Lunch group will host Mary Ellen Ducey, an archivist at UNL, who will give an overview of preservation resources for the family historian.
Mike Hansen, a computer systems support associate from ITS, will also talk about the Legacy genealogy software program.
Genealogy Over Lunch is open to faculty, staff and students who wish to research their family tree. The group typically meets every third Thursday of the month at 11:30 a.m. in Love Library.
Participants are encouraged to bring a lunch.
